He brings a unique skill set to every production—whether on location or a Hollywood set—by being adaptive, open-minded, thoroughly prepared and unflappable in focus. Well known for his action and lifestyle work, he has shot work for Ford, Subaru, Toyota, American Express, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cabela’s, Eddie Bauer, Victory motorcycles, CF Moto, Arctic Cat and many others. In addition, his work on major Hollywood feature films includes working on 11 Marvel films including Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War where Kent served as the B Camera Operator / Splinter Unit DP. Kent is a member of the distinguished Society of Camera Operators (SOC) and is an Emmy-award-winning cinematographer. His talent and broad skills establish him as one of the most sought-after, professional and well-respected in the business.

Kent’s experience climbing and filming to the summit of six of the famed “Seven Summits,” including Mt. Everest twice (2009/2012) as well as in remote locations around the world such as Antarctica, Asia and South America, earned Kent a broad worldview with a global, human perspective. This, along with his active lifestyle as a climber, mountaineer, skier, kayaker and mountain biker combine to form the distinct perspective he brings to every project.

When not working, you can likely find Kent spending time with his family enjoying time in the mountains of Colorado.
