Kent Harvey

Kent's work encompasses varied imagery usually filmed under intense situations, settings, and with the most gifted people in the industry.  Kent’s experience climbing and filming on six of the famed “Seven Summits” including Mt. Everest  as well as in remote locations around the world like Antarctica, Asia, and South America has given Kent a broad worldview with a global, human perspective. He is able to bring a unique skill set to any production whether it be in a distant location or on a Hollywood set by being adaptive, open-minded, thoroughly prepared and unflappable behind the lens.

Specializing in premier action and lifestyle cinematography, he has shot commercials for Ford, American Express, Eddie Bauer/First Ascent, Victory motorcycles,  Arctic Cat, Ski Doo and many others. In addition, his work on major Hollywood feature films include shooting on the films Cowboys & Aliens, Captain America, Limitless, The Other Guys, Iron Man 1 & 2, Hancock, Spiderman 3 & Mrs. Smith.  Most recently he has worked on the yet to be released Gangster Squad, Parker and 21 Jump Street.

Kent is member of the distinguished Society of Camera Operators (SOC) and is an Emmy-award winning cinematographer. His talent and broad skills allow him to be one of the most sought-after, professional and well-respected in the business.

Kent is a long time climber, mountaineer, skier, kayaker, mountain biker, & fly fisherman and is able to capitalize on these skill sets when he is behind the lens shooting action.

When not working, you can find Kent spending time with his wife, Amy, and their two young daughters enjoying the outdoors.
